Credentialing

The credentialing process for our primary care providers is executed by our contracted Health Plans. However, CHCN utilizes the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) for our electronic credentialing application process. CAQH maintains our provider’s files and required documents (i.e. licenses) by notifying the providers and CHCN of any required updates on a quarterly basis. CHCN also maintains files on all of our credentialed providers.
