The mission of Axis Community Health is to provide quality, affordable, accessible and compassionate health care services that promote the well-being of all members of the community.

  • Sole provider of medical services for the indigent and uninsured residents of Eastern Alameda County
  • Sites located in Pleasanton, Livemore, and Dublin
  • Service area is 900 square miles and includes the cities of Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and the surrounding rural areas
  • Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm; Tuesday and Thursday evenings for urgent care
  • Uninsured residents of Alameda County do not have access to hospital care – they must travel to Highland or Children’s Hospital for these services. A 30 mile on-way trip requires five bus transfers and takes two and one-half hours
