Native American Health Center Publishes “Native Vision” Report Native American Health Center recently published a report on the mental health disparities facing the Native American community in California. Their report, “Native Vision: A Focus on Improving Behavioral Health Wellness for California Native Americans,” was funded by California’s Department of Mental Health and offers recommendations from members in the Native American community on how to address disparities as well as strategies for creating culturally competent Prevention & Early Intervention to promote mental wellness throughout the state. Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center Promotores Graduation On June 29, 2012 Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center held a graduation ceremony for its Academy of Promotores graduates.
