Soft Skills Training of Trainers

The Health Workforce Initiative (HWI) is coming to CHCN, Tuesday August 15 to conduct a Train the Trainer (TOT) in Hi-Touch Health Care: The Critical 6 Soft Skills (The curriculum is provided for free for all topics in this link). Topic areas include:

1. Communication Competency
2. Workplace Ethics and Professionalism
3. Team Building and Collaboration
4. Effective Problem Solving
5. Embracing Diversity
6. Demonstrating Compassion

These are Grab-N- Go Training Modules, for use in team meetings, change of shift, orientations, and including as pieces in various trainings.

Lunch will be included.

The only requirement is that after the TOT you teach one of the subjects either in partnership with HWI or an HWI trainer who will come observe your training and provide feedback. This training can be either at your health center or CHCN and only needs to be 45 mins to one hour long (one of the modules).  This is an invitation only training.
