CHCN’s core business function, integrated managed care operations, serves as a foundation for our practice management programs. We provide practice management support to our health centers through CHCN staff who assist our health centers in several areas.
CHCN offers our health centers integrated clinical quality improvement (QI) planning support and clinical regulatory compliance. Through our QI program, we also conduct ongoing performance measurement and provide financial incentives for clinical and administrative improvements. In the financial arena, CHCN provides centralized auditor selection, audit review, and technical assistance on revenue maximization. In the IT field, we support practice management system RFP development, maintain a comprehensive data warehouse, coordinate disease management IT system implementation and planning, and centralize the clinical IT collaboration of our member health centers.
