Pituitary Adenomas

The presentation will provide an overview of pituitary adenomas. Common clinical presentation, workup, and treatment options will be discussed, including surgical approach for tumor resection.

- Define the different types of pituitary adenomas
- Understand laboratory and auxiliary testing needed to help with treatment decision making
- Discuss treatment options for pituitary adenomas
- Understand the basic surgical approach for tumor resection
Degenerative Spine Disease
Speaker: Sun Ik Lee, MD; Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery
UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery, Eastbay; Highland Hospital, Alameda Health System
This presentation will provide an overview of degenerative spine disease, including common presentation, diagnosis, and treatment. Back pain presents frequently in the primary care setting. This presentation will help clinicians diagnose and treat common degenerative spine disease in the primary care setting and help determine when to refer for neurosurgical evaluation.

- Recognize different pathologies in degenerative spine disease
- Properly treat pathologies
- Educate patients and meet their expectations
